Who we are

Promptle is operated by Argus Management Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this site.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email, and profile picture to maintain your account. We save your game results, streaks, and hint usage to track your progress across sessions.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how people play and to improve the game. Analytics are only active if you accept cookies — no data is collected until then. You can change your preference at any time: Cookie settings

Cookies

• Analytics cookies — PostHog tracking, only set with your consent.
• Authentication cookies — Essential session cookies managed by Supabase. Required for sign-in to work.
• Anonymous ID — A functional cookie that links your anonymous game results to your account when you sign in.

Third parties

• Google — Authentication only. We don't share your gameplay data with Google.
• Supabase — Database and auth infrastructure. Your data is stored on their servers.
• PostHog — Analytics, only when you've opted in.

Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. If you want your data deleted, email us and we'll remove everything within 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or have it deleted entirely. We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below.
